Whole Body Cryotherapy: Experience Something Cool
Dr. Michael DeSimone, Owner of Castle Rock CryoCare
Dr. Michael DeSimone has spent his entire career helping people look better and feel better!
For more than 30 years, he owned a successful dental practice, before his career was cut short by an infection in his wrist that required multiple surgeries and ultimately rendered him unable to perform dentistry.
A natural-born caregiver (“it’s in my DNA,” he says), Dr. DeSimone looked for an alternative vocation that would allow him to return to the healing profession and continue to help people.
Because of his own experience with chronic pain and the resultant need for prescription medications, when he discovered whole body Cryotherapy, he was ecstatic! Literally! Cryotherapy treatments helped lessen his need for pain medications, and they also made him feel better overall – a response many people have shared after experiencing Cryotherapy.
Not only was his dental career cut short, but Dr. DeSimone’s wrist injury also curtailed his participation as a competitive athlete – in cycling, skiing, and golf. His goal, thanks to Cryotherapy, is to get back to fully enjoying those sports again!
Over the years, Dr. DeSimone has consistently given back to the Castle Rock community, through his involvement with the Colorado Foundation of Dentistry for the Handicapped, Women’s Crisis Center, Toys for Tots, Boy Scouts of America, Girl Scouts, Alive at 25, and local schools and churches.
Dr. DeSimone and his wife Tammy have four children, Amanda, Thomas, David, and Joe.
